San Andreas, CA…On Friday, September 20, 2024, the 2024 Road Resurfacing and Paving Program will continue in the communities of San Andreas and Valley Springs. Microsurface application will begin on Friday, September 20, 2024, and continue through Monday, September 23, 2024, on the following roads in CSA 1 (Valley Springs): Bergsma Lane, Brooks Road, Crail Way, Friedman Way, McNeil Way, Nall Street, O’Rielly Street, Pollock Street, Roberts Road, Stabulis Road and Westhill Road.

The microsurface work will continue Tuesday, September 24, 2024, through the end of the week on Church Hill Road and Gold Strike Road in San Andreas.

Traffic lanes along the roadways will be affected with use of flaggers and warning devices. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution in the area. Crews will be active during daylight hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The next phase of the 2024 Road Resurfacing and Paving Project is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of September 30, 2024, on Southworth Road in Valley Springs and Pool Station Road in San Andreas.

The 2024 Road Resurfacing and Paving Program is being constructed by Mountain Cascade, Inc. who is under contract with Calaveras County Department of Public Works. Your cooperation is appreciated as we work to complete the project on schedule.
