Patricia Anne Davis 1946 ~ 2026

Murphys, CA…Mrs. Patricia Anne Davis December 13, 1946 ~ February 9, 2026 (age 79).  Patricia Anne Davis of Murphys, California, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born in Los Angeles to the late Ernest and Ruth Rushton, Pat studied French at UC Santa Barbara before moving to Hawaii and starting her family. In 1978, she put down her roots in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, where she marveled at God’s creation.

She discovered the joy of whitewater rafting on the Stanislaus River and supported Friends of the River in its mission to conserve California’s rivers. One of her most cherished traditions was experiencing the grandeur of Yosemite National Park with her family.

She joined Calaveras Lumber shortly after it opened its doors and worked there for half her life, forming lasting friendships and bringing warmth and wisdom to every role.

A devoted member of Murphys Community Church and longtime leader of NAMI Gold Country, Pat served her community with deep compassion, gentle humility, and unending faith.

Gardening was one of her enduring passions. She could often be found with her hands in the soil, quietly cultivating beauty in the California sunshine.

At the heart of Pat’s life was her love for her family. Her children and grandchildren brought her indescribable joy. She treasured her time with them, celebrated their milestones, and found meaning in life’s simple gifts.

Pat is survived by her son, Israel; daughters, Neriah, Liberty, and Kopavi; twelve beloved grandchildren; brothers, Richard and Daniel; sons-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins; and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June, after the wildflowers bloom.
