He never married and had no children, but is remembered by his many cousins and nephews as Jerry who always arrived on visits driving fancy cars and being accompanied by gorgeous women. He died after he fell down some stairs in his home and it is not known if the fall was some sort of a trip, or if it was caused by some medical problem. A wake in his honor was held at Hannigin’s Irish Pub in Lost Gatos.
