Angels Camp, CA…My sister Barbara and I took my mom Arlene Halford of Angels Camp to Skydive Surf City in Watsonville last week so she could skydive! She turned 80 years old this year and wanted to celebrate by skydiving! Not her first time either, she jumped at 70 years old too! She said her tandem jump from an elevation of 14,000 feet with her instructor Matt was absolutely beautiful seeing the most spectacular coastline and ocean views! She was freefalling for 45 seconds until her instructor pulled the chute in which she got to steer. My sister and I were able to watch her parachute down and make a perfect landing!
