Deputies met with 24 year old, Alicia Thornburg from Tuolumne. She was the driver of a red Nissan Sentra. She told the deputies her boyfriend slammed on his brakes causing her to hit his white four door Cadillac. Thornburg said she had been in an argument with her boyfriend prior to the accident because he was with another woman at the casino.

During the investigation, deputies learned Thornburg had followed her ex boyfriend and the woman to the casino where an argument ensued. Casino security told Thornburg to leave the premises.

As the ex boyfriend and woman were driving on Tuolumne Road, they noticed they were being followed by Thornburg. The ex boyfriend pulled his Cadillac over at a turnout near Soulsbyville Road and Thornburg rammed her Nissan Sentra into the back of his Cadillac.

As the ex boyfriend drove off to get away from Thornburg, she rammed his vehicle again rendering her vehicle disabled.

Thornburg was arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon.
