Waiting Out Mother Nature…Bear Valley To Reopen Wednesday After System Moves Through

Bear Valley, CA…For the continued safety of our employees and guests we WILL NOT OPEN LIFTS AT THE SKI AREA MONDAY & TUESDAY, with the plan to re-open on Wednesday, January 11th. The large amounts of rain received thus far has been met by a small team of operations and maintenance crew on site today managing the running water/flood areas and keeping an eye on the facilities, lift houses and Village areas throughout the greater part of the day. WE THANK OUR TEAMS ON SITE working hard to maintain structures and access areas through these harsh conditions.

The silver lining is that the forecast is calling for cooling temperatures and are projecting anywhere from 1.5 to 3 feet of snow by Thursday this week, setting us up for high quality skiing/boarding experience for all! Follow our social sites and Mattly will keep you updated, and be sure to make plans for some epic conditions in the days ahead.

VILLAGE OPERATIONS:

Grizzly Bar & Grill OPEN SUNDAY

Mon/Tues Nights – Sky High scheduled to be OPEN

Hotel – OPEN daily
