Protesters Seeking To Bring 1,000 Plus To McClintock Town Hall In Sonora

Sonora, CA…The Indivisible movement is gearing up to remind Republican Congressmen that supporting Donald Trump’s Presidency will cause problems for them when they visit their districts. Unfortunately it appears that working relationships between dispirit groups in our communities are at a low point and a positive outcome in the near future looks uncertain at best. From the group’s event announcement on Facebook. “We need to rally our like minded neighbors and get to this town hall! Remember this is our congressman who called us “anarchists.” Do you disagree? We do. On Wednesday tell him “We Are Indivisible!” Let’s remind Tom McClintock that we are his constituents who oppose his Trump supporting agenda and policies. We are not anarchists, we are not violent or intimidating. But we are not intimidated either! We will stand up and fight for our freedoms and values. We are the constituents of CA District 4 and we demand to be represented!

Former Labor Secretary Robert B Reich has even recorded a video with tips for protesters.

Please arrive to get in line at 4:00 pm or earlier. The goal is to get 1000+ supporters there so we can fill the venue and have a large peaceful rally outside.

Please write out your questions and bring them with you. Keep your questions respectful and concise. However, if you have personal stories about how his or trump’s agenda or policies have affected you please tell your story. Ask his opinion rather than yes/no questions. Get him to talk and take a stance on the issues that are important to you. We will be peaceful and respectful, not rambunctious but we will let him know when we disagree with his statements and party rhetoric. If you are picked to ask a question and you get the microphone, ask your question and hold the mic, this way you can ask a follow-up question.”
