Angels Camp, CA…The Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee has once again invited professional young men and women to participate in the Junior Fairboard program.

The Junior Fairboard program is open to high school juniors and seniors in Calaveras County. Students get the opportunity to learn about the different aspects of the Calaveras County Fair while also building their résumés. Each student is assigned shifts where they will participate in everything from working in the livestock office to assisting on the frog jump stage. The seniors also have the opportunity to win a $500 scholarship.

The 2017 Junior Fairboard consists of the following students: Kyra Allemand, Alara Bowsher, Alyssa Brooks, Elizabeth Castillo, Violeta Contreras, Tawnya Dickerson, Cler Estoesta, Sierra Hedstrom, Joseph Herrera, Alyssa Hobgood, Samantha Hopper, Christian Mitchell, Madalyn Myers, Alexandra Smith, Mary Soria, Jahyda Souza.
