Lake Alpine, CA…We would like to thank John Michnowicz for the photos from yesterday as Caltrans commenced their work in earnest of clearing Ebbetts Pass for spring & summer. It will be a long and tough task as once the roads are cleaned crews will need to finish any road repairs needed. We have heard that there may be some damage to the roadway over by the Carson River. How much and how long it will take repairs won’t be known until the clearing is finished..
