Murphys, CA…Well its’ about time we had a few more period correct vehicles gracing the streets of our small towns. They may not be “Buggy Bill” period correct but about 40 beautiful horseless carriages are making day trips from their homebase at Murphys Inn & Suites. We spoke with owners from as far away as Maryland & Washington state attending the rally. As this era gets farther into the rear view of history our debt of gratitude to these owners and collectors grows as they are truly living history exhibits from our past.

It takes an incredible amount of time, caring and resources to keep these beautiful vehicles in tip top operational condition. Jay Leno once said about some of the vehicles he owned that he was merely the caretaker of history for future generations.
