Calaveras County Resident Selected as New Executive Director of InfraGard

Murphys, CA…Kimberly Pratt of Murphys, California has been selected to be the new Executive Director of InfraGard, an organization dedicated to partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Pratt was a Business Process Consultant, Information Technology for Wells Fargo. Pratt stated, “I’m very excited to be the Executive Director of such an exciting and dynamic organization that works at the local level across the country to protect the critical infrastructure and national security of our nation. I look forward to working with the Board of Directors as well as the InfraGard FBI Coordinators.”

The InfraGard program provides a vehicle for seamless public-private collaboration with government that expedites the timely exchange of information and promotes mutual learning opportunities relevant to the protection of Critical Infrastructure. With nearly 50,000 vetted members nationally, InfraGard’s membership includes business executives, entrepreneurs, military and government officials, computer professionals, academia and state and local law enforcement; each dedicated to contributing industry specific insight and advancing national security. Currently, there are 84 active chapters across the United States.

Ms. Pratt has a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and French Literature from the University of California, San Diego. She also attended Hazel Fischer Elementary School in Arnold, California as well as Bret Harte High School in Angels Camp, California.
