West Point, CA…Christoper Lane was driving westbound on Independence Road at a high rate of speed. Noah Tidwell was a passenger in the back seat. As Lane came to a curve to his left, he lost control of his vehicle and allowed it to run off the roadway where it traveled through two wire fences then collided with a large pine tree before coming to a stop. Lane was wearing a seatbelt but suffered major injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Modesto Memorial Hospital for treatment. Tidwell was not wearing a seatbelt and also suffered mojor injuries and was also taken to Modesto Memorial for treatment.

Lane was arrested for driving under the influence including causing injury to another.
