Murphys, CA…On June 8th, esteemed winemaker Steve Millier, winemaker for Ironstone Vineyards, Milliaire Winery and Black Sheep Winery will be pouring and showcasing an Ironstone Vineyards portfolio of wines and Lodi counterparts while discussing their sustainable winemaking and viticulture practices. Come learn and taste Ironstone’s Gold Medal Winners including their “Best in Show” Double Gold Reserve Viognier! Tickets are only $25 and includes tasting, winemaker discussion and light cheese and appetisers.

The Calaveras Uncorked Wine Education Series will take place quarterly on June 8th, September 14th and December 14th and the start time will be moved to 6:00pm in order to allow more tasting room personnel to attend. The quarterly series will take place in the Mark Twain Ballroom of The Historic Murphys Hotel and the cost is $20 for Wine Alliance members and $25 for non-members. The Calaveras Wine Alliance has rebranded and restructured its wine education series previously titled Wines Of The World to Calaveras Uncorked Wine Education Series. The new series will utilize its existing members and winemakers who will provide a more in-depth tasting and discussion of their wines, their winemaking practices and their history here in Calaveras.
