Murphys, CA…A 1960 Ford Pickup was parked in the driveway of 225 Watkins St., facing east. The Murphys man reached inside and turned the ignition key. Unfortunately the transmission was in reverse and the Ford started to back while he was standing next to the open driver side door. The man was struck with the door and was pushed into the garage overhang support beams. The pickup continued to travel backwards across Watkins St. and the rear of the pickup collided with a parked vehicle at the address of 252 Watkins.

He was taken to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment of Moderate injuries.
