Columbia, CA…From the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department: Two homes were fully engulfed by the blaze and one received minor damage. Two homes were evacuated successfully. Personnel have contacted the owner of the third mobile who was not home during the incident. All residents were out of their homes and safe.
Original Post:Just after 10 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies and fire crews responded to the Columbia Mobile Home park at 22217 Parrotts Ferry Road. Mobiles 11,13 and 15 are affected with one completely engulfed in flames. Deputies are making sure all residents are out of their homes directly near the fire. The stretch of road in front of the mobile home park is being closed at this time. Please avoid the area until the fire has been contained.
