Copperopolis, CA…Lawrence was driving a 2013 Chevy northbound on O’Byrnes Ferry Road, south of Duchess Drive at approximately 45 mph and behind a 2017 Chevy. Carey was driving a 2017 Chevy northbound on O’Byrnes Ferry Road, south of Duchess Drive at approximately 40-45 mph. Traffic ahead began to slow/stop, therefore Party 2 began to slowing/stop with the traffic ahead. Due to Lawrence’s unsafe speed he was unable to slow/stop his Chevy in time. Consequently, the front end of his Chevy collided with the rear of the 2017 Chevy.
