San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce, The San Andreas Rotary and the San Andreas Merchants Association is hosting San Andreas Pioneer Day, Saturday, September 9, 2017. This is a brand new event and is a promotional activity for San Andreas. We are all interested in finding new ways to promote and revitalize our historic town and look forward to San Andreas Pioneer Day becoming an annual event.

Each of the three organizations Calaveras Chamber of Commerce, The San Andreas Rotary and The San Andreas Merchants have partnered to bring San Andreas Pioneer Day. This event will honor our Pioneer Heritage and our Pioneer Families.

The day will begin with a parade at 10:00 from Calaveras High School lower parking lot to Highway 49/St. Charles Street then down Historic Main Street and ending at the San Andreas Elementary School.

Immediately following the parade, activities will begin at Turner Park. Turner Park will be filled with Vendors, Food, Vintage Cars, Historic Re-enactment’s, and Entertainment along with a great Chili Cook-Off.
