Arrests In Jamestown Stabbing Case

Jamestown, CA…On 5/14/2015 the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office responded to Bench Dr. in Jamestown regarding a stabbing of a 30 year old male. The injuries were determined to be life threatening and the victim was immediately transported to Modesto for surgery.

During the investigation it was discovered that before the stabbing six subjects were having a party with the victim at his residence. An argument ensued between the six suspects and the victim, which led to a physical altercation. The victim was physically attacked by at least four of the suspects and during the attack one suspect used a knife to stab the victim multiple times.

After the attack two of the suspects entered the victim’s house and removed personal items. As the suspects were getting into a vehicle the victim asked the suspects to return his items to him and at that time realized that he had been stabbed. All six suspects got into a vehicle and left the area with the victim’s possessions.

At this time the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office has been able to identify all the involved suspects and have made five arrests in connection with the incident; two male adults and 3 juvenile females. Mackenzie Darr, 20, of Sonora and Jonathan Joseph Ross, 18, of Cedar Ridge were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, home invasion robbery and conspiracy. Due to the females being juveniles, their identities will not be released. The investigation is still ongoing.
