Arnold, CA…In tonight’s news program we featured the Board of Supervisors Adopting a Proclamation honoring Corporal Tom Oldham for his 14 years of service to the residents of Calaveras County as a Deputy with the Sheriff’s Office and congratulating him on his retirement. A few years ago we asked the late Sheriff Gary Kuntz which of his deputies would be his first choice to trust in a potentially violent or tough situation. Without a pause he said Deputy Oldham. He said that with Oldham’s Marine career prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office that he was unflappable in even the diciest of incidents.
