AAA NCNU Assists Wildfire Victims Claims Assistance Offered to Members

Angels Camp, CA…In response to the Northern California wildfires, AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah (NCNU) is taking action to assist its members. In addition to AAA offices staffed by insurance specialists in Northern California, the AAA emergency response trailer is stationed at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa. The trailer’s operating hours are 7 AM – 7 PM, and it is staffed by employees who assist members with insurance claims and other needs. They also distribute personal care items – and stuffed animals, if there are children involved.

“We are awed by the resilience and hope demonstrated by our members,” said Laura Zeigler, insurance executive with AAA NCNU. “We are available and ready to respond to our members’ insurance needs during this challenging time.”

Among the services being provided by AAA NCNU:

· Debit cards to help with immediate living expenses are available to those with covered losses insured through AAA who have been displaced from their homes.

· Emergency road service is available to AAA members who have cars damaged by the wildfire.

· AAA is working with local Hertz offices to provide rental vehicles to those who have lost or damaged cars.

AAA NCNU insurance customers who have suffered damages can begin filing claims immediately. AAA NCNU has a telephone number for members who need assistance: (800) 922-8228.

“We want our members to know we are here for them,” added Zeigler. “Helping them get back on their feet is important to us.”
