Jamestown, CA…On Saturday afternoon, Deputies were dispatched to a home on Main Street in Jamestown for a report of a sexual assault that occurred earlier in the day. Deputies were told the victim who is familiar with 35-year-old Jake Schlegel, was sexually assaulted by him in her home.

Schlegel was later contacted at a restaurant in Twain Harte and was placed under arrest for burglary, rape and sodomy.

He is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
