San Andreas, CA…On November 26, 2017, at approximately 1545 hours, Party #1 (Vanderwoude) was driving his Honda motorcycle westbound on Sunset Street approaching Russells Road at an undetermined speed. Due to his level of intoxication and the wet roadway conditions, Vanderwoude lost control of his vehicle and was ejected off of the motorcycle. Vanderwoude sustained major injuries and was ultimately transferred to Modesto Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

Vanderwoude was subsequently arrested for DUI. Due to the extent of his injuries, he was not immediately booked into the Calaveras County Jail.

Alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in this collision.
