Murphys, CA…One of the great things our local government has done is making disposing of trash easier and cheaper than many of our surrounding counties. In fact it had become a problem for residents of neighboring counties to visit Calaveras just to visit one of our transfer stations. All you have to do is show an ID and it is free for most normal items. Apparently a few locals have missed these memos(Or just didn’t want to show and ID). So below are the hours of the transfer stations.

Rock Creek is open every day from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Avery Transfer Station is open Open Fridays through Tuesdays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Red Hill Transfer Station and Yard is open Fridays through Mondays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Copperopolis Transfer Station is Open Fridays through Mondays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

San Andreas Transfer Station is Open Fridays through Mondays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Paloma Transfer Station is Open Saturdays through Mondays from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Wilseyville Transfer Station is Open Fridays through Mondays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
