Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! We all know the high pressure ridging is in place for awhile so today the high could reach the upper 50’s with a NNE wind from 5-7mph. Continued beautiful sunny weather will be here through next week. What I want to talk about is the fact that we’re opening more terrain today! Pooh Chair is coming online approximately 11am this morning with Grouse Connection groomed to perfection and some off-piste riding on Satisfaction, Upper Bear Boogie and Goldilocks. Thin snow cover in the off-piste is around yet the quality of the groom on Grouse is simply some of the best we could see. The Snow makers and Groomers have done some incredible work to bring this online even though California is not seeing much snowfall so far this season. We’re also moving the summit park to it’s final destination on Rodeo so look for that to come online by Saturday.

What’s this mean for us…..well, great groomers and some really good bump skiing is to be had. Despite the high pressure ridging we have fantastic conditions for skiing and riding so it’s a great time to bring the family or friends up for quality skiing/riding or just taking a lesson.
