San Andreas, CA…Measure A determines the future of the Mark Twain Medical Center hospital in Calaveras County.
YES ON MEASURE A. Mark Twain Medical Center will continue to provide nationally recognized high-level quality care for rural hospitals in Calaveras County. There will be NO increase to taxes. The citizens of Calaveras County will continue to own the hospital. All medical clinics in Calaveras County, currently owned by Mark Twain Medical Center, will remain open and continue to serve county residents.
Dignity Health will pay the current health care district $12.5 million dollars and will lease the facilities for $100,000 per month. The lease will be for 30 years with incremental check-ins from the health care district.

Health screenings in our schools
More Mental and Behavioral Health services
Tell-Conferencing with doctors and patients
Possibility of a Mobile Medical Van service
