Pioneer, CA…From CHP Amador…”The Amador Area CHP would like to thank all who contributed to the rescue efforts during the cattle truck roll over yesterday. Caltrans, Calfire, Amador County Fire Protection District, Amador County Animal Control, several local veterinarians, and local ranchers and residents all pitched in to successfully rescue 51 cows which were trapped in the trailer after it rolled onto its side on State Route 88 at Knob Hill. A special thank you to all of you who dedicated your time, equipement, and considerable effort to make this rescue possible. It is always amazing to see how this community comes together and jumps into action when there is a need! Thank you all.”
