Valley Springs, CA…An Ione Woman was driving her Hyundai northbound on Sandretto Road (Pardee Dam Rd), north of Campo Seco Road, traveling at an unknown speed. As she was entering a left hand curve in the roadway for northbound traffic, for a yet to be determined reason, she allowed the Hyundai to travel off of the roadway and collide with the wood/metal guardrail. The Hyundai then continued over the guardrail, and down a dirt embankment. Her vehicle then rolled over, and came to rest, on its roof, submerged in Pardee Reservior. Citizens were able to pull her from the vehicle prior to emergency personnel arriving on scene. She was transported by Air Ambulance to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries.

It is unknown if drugs/alcohol played a factor in this collision.
