Muprhys, CA…Last Sunday local veterans, friends, families and community members gathered to pay homage to those who literally put service to their country above self. This year again featured presentations on the various branches from students from Jennifer Berry’s class at Albert Michelson Elementary school.  Music from the Calaveras Communty Band and more,  When you visit Murphys whether you are a visitor or a local resident take a few minutes to visit the park. The Ebbetts Pass Veterans Memorial District through sale of memorial bricks, community donations including a large donation from the Kautz Family that included the iconic statue that is the Park’s focal point.
