Sonora, CA…The Stanislaus National Forest is hosting an open house to gather feedback and answer questions from OHV enthusiasts on April 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Forest Supervisor’s office, 19777 Greenley Road, Sonora.
The forest submitted preliminary applications for the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division 2019/ 2020 grant cycle. The applications to the OHMVR Division include a ground operations grant for maintenance and repair of routes and trails, including OHV facilities, a law enforcement grant to support OHV law enforcement activities across the forest and a forest-wide restoration grant to repair areas impacted by unauthorized OHV activity.
