Columbia, CA…From the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Dept…”A woman got quite the surprise Sunday morning when she opened the door to her truck and found a stranger asleep inside. Deputies responded to her home on Springfield Road in Columbia, and were taken to 26-year-old Cody Crosby who was found inside the truck. Deputies learned Crosby had also burglarized a nearby unoccupied home. The front door was ajar and the security screen had been pried open. The window on the back door was broken and several tools were placed outside of the home next to Crosby’s motorized bike. Crosby was also wearing a jacket he had taken from the home and had a plastic bag containing several pieces of jewelry.

Crosby was arrested and after a search at the jail, was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and a white powdery substance. He was booked for burglary and bringing a controlled substance into a detention facility.”
