San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the appointment of Avneet Kaur, MHA as their new Chief Executive Officer. “We are entering into a new era… [and] are excited that over the last couple months in our search that we found the perfect person for the job. Kaur received her Master of Science in Health Care Administration in May of 2019 from California State University, East Bay. Kaur has spent the last year in Human Resources and Payroll for a Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in the Central Valley.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the CEO of the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce and to work alongside such a great team”, said Kaur. “My strategic vision is to keep the core values of the chamber and to take the chamber to the next level with innovative ideas and use of technology”.

Staci Johnston passed the torch to Kaur who hit the ground running. Kaur’s primary focus will be on economic and business development and working on partnerships and programs to make our county a better place to live work and play.

When she is not working Kaur enjoys spending time with her family. Kaur has recently relocated to county. Although she is new to the county, she has enjoyed visiting the local events and attraction for the past many years.
