Amigo is the Calaveras County Animal Services Pet of the Week

San Andreas, CA…Meet Amigo, a Queensland Heeler mix, estimated to be about two years of age. A happy and handsome fellow, his eyes will melt your heart. No matter what is going on in Amigo’s world, his tail is always wagging and he’s ready for his next adventure. The people who found him reported that he played well with their dog but chased their cats, so a feline-free home would be best. A delightful pup with lots of potential, Amigo has made good progress learning to walk in a harness though would benefit from obedience training. We are confident his leash manners will continue to improve away from the distractions of the shelter.

As with all dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Amigo is micro-chipped, has tested negative for heartworm and is up-to-date on his routine vaccinations. Since he is already neutered, he can go home with his special person or family today.
