Valley Springs, CA…Party-1 was driving eastbound on Lime Creek Road approaching S. Petersburg Road. Party-1 drove off of the roadway and collided into a utility pole west of S Petersburg Rd. The vehicle traveled across S. Petersburg Road and continued off the road and came to rest in a ditch. The vehicle caught fire and became fully engulfed, causing a small grass fire in the area.

Unfortunately, both the driver and passenger were declared deceased on scene. No further information concerning the identity of the occupants is available at this time.

Alcohol use is suspected as contributing factor in this collision.
