Valley Springs, CA…The tragic notifications have been made and CHP has released the names in yesterday’s crash. Party-1 was driving eastbound on Lime Creek Road approaching S. Petersburg Road. Party-1 drove off of the roadway and collided into a utility pole west of S Petersburg Rd. The vehicle traveled across S. Petersburg Road and continued off the road and came to rest in a ditch. The vehicle caught fire and became fully engulfed, causing a small grass fire in the area.

Unfortunately, both the driver and passenger were declared deceased on scene.

Alcohol use is suspected as contributing factor in this collision.
