Calaveras Board of Supervisors to Vote on New General Plan Today

San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County General Plan has been in limbo for 13 years. In 2006 the board voted for a general plan update moratorium. That started the process for a new general plan. In the subsequent 13 years there has been millions of dollars spent, countless hours wasted on community plans, housing projects killed or shelved because of the legal structural deficit of a general plan. So after millions of wasted tax dollars & possibly tens of millions of lost investment in the county we may actually get a new general plan. The complete agenda is below…
