FFA Degrees Bestowed at Recent FFA Meeting! ~ By Emma Garcia

Angels Camp, CA…On Wednesday November 13th Bret Harte FFA conducted their third general meeting of the year. At this meeting twenty-five FFA members received their chapter FFA degrees, which is the highest award that can be given at the chapter level. To earn this degree you have to meet specific requirements such as have already received your Greenhand degree, completed 180 hours in an agriculture class, helped to conduct three FFA activities, raised $150 and worked 45 hours in your record book, demonstrated parliamentary procedures, show progress in the FFA program, and have a good scholastic record.

The officer team was very proud in inscribe their names into our records and they will be awarded the silver charm of the FFA emblem for their jackets. Also during the meeting the 2017-2018 FFA Greenhand Officers were announced. President is Delaney Caroline Krypan, Sophia Ruff, Secretary Afton Phillips, Treasurer Delaney Lenihan, Reporter Roxana Alverado, and Sentinel Brian Ortiz. Each and every one of these individuals showed that working together will get them further.
