San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Administrative Office will hold a meeting of the County Debt Advisory Committee on January 30, 2020 in the Board Overflow Room in Building A of the Government Center. The Purpose of the meeting is to examine financing options for the HVAC replacement project. The HVAC replacement has been a priority of the Board as approved at meetings of the Board on April 10, 2018 and March 26, 2019. On March 26, 2019, the Board of Supervisors created the Facilities Ad Hoc Committee to facilitate project delivery and prioritization of certain facility infrastructure projects as identified by the Board on April 10, 2018, including the HVAC replacement project.
On November 7, 2019, the Facilities Ad Hoc Committee heard a presentation regarding the HVAC feasibility study from the CAO, Manager of Facilities and Compass Energy Solutions, an Energy Services Company engaged to conduct a feasibility study for HVAC Replacement. On November 7, 2019, the Facilities Ad Hoc Committee recommended moving the discussion of HVAC replacement to the full Board. On December 17, 2019, the County Administrative Officer, along with Compass Energy Solutions, presented the HVAC feasibility study to the Board of Supervisors. After hearing the presentation, the Board supported moving the project forward for consideration of financing options including engagement of the Calaveras County Debt Advisory Committee, a committee formed the County of Calaveras Public Finance Policies and Procedures adopted May 10, 2004 and revised February 14, 2007.

The County of Calaveras Debt Advisory Committee is a committee subject to the rules of the Brown Act.
