Amador County continues COVID-19 vaccinations within the Phase 1a designation. Over 1700 vaccinations have been given to date in Amador and 2nd doses began last week. The Phase 1a groups currently being vaccinated include healthcare workers, first responders, and community outreach workers that support vulnerable populations. The supply of vaccine continues to be limited. Amador facilities are participating in the Long-Term Care Pharmacy Partnership vaccinating local skilled nursing facility residents and staff.
