Public Health Update
1.	Receive an update presentation from staff on COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).

3.	Send letter to California Department of Public Health requesting that Calaveras County be shifted from the San Joaquin Valley region to the Greater Sacramento region for purposes of the State’s regional stay at home order.

4.	Adopt a Resolution authorizing 1) the Planning Director to apply for the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) Regional Early Action Planning (REAP) grant funds, and 2) the Planning Director or his/her designee to enter into, execute and deliver a State of California Standard Agreement for the maximum amount of $200,970 and any and all other documents required or deemed necessary or appropriate to evidence and secure the allocation, the County’s obligations related thereto, and all amendments HCD deems necessary so long as the not-to-exceed amount is not increased.

Re the Public Health Update, I agree 100% that our being placed in the San Joaquin Valley Region was a mistake.

Will the new County Health Director be supporting that request to change as well?
