Moms, dads and caregivers, take note: If you weren’t already cautious of your kids and what they bring in from trick-or-treating, now is the time to start.

According to the Jackson, Miss., Metro Police Department, there is a circulation of candy going around that looks like the sweet stuff below.

Unfortunately, it’s something much more dangerous — Ecstasy — which can harm and even have fatal effects on a child.

“So, check your kid’s candy and “When in doubt, Throw it out!!!” writes the police department. “Be safe and always keep the shiny side up!!!”
