Mountain Ranch, CA…This Thursday, December 3, 2015 and Friday December 4, 2015 Mountain Ranch Community Relief Efforts will be hosting our first of many “Out of the Weather Rally(s)” from 6pm to 7am, overnighto bring their own crates. Some crates will be on hand for those in need.c and access to communication. Future Rally(s) will be scheduled based on predictions for inclement weather with as much advance notice given as possible.
The Mountain Ranch Out of the Weather Rally(s) is our response to the need of Butte Fire survivors for a warm, safe, dry place to be during inclement weather in the burn scar area. Many of the survivors of the Butte Fire are still living on their burnt out properties in tents and campers, some without electricity, water, septic and access to communication. Flooding and debris/mud flows are also a large concern.
The Rally(s) are being hosted by Mountain Ranch Community Relief Efforts, which is a group of concerned community members and private citizens who felt we could move faster than traditional natural disaster relief organizations, be on the ground in the trenches with natural disaster survivors, and provide neighbor to neighbor relief to the community of Mountain Ranch, Calaveras County, California. MRCRE is working in conjunction and Earth Cause, a California humanitarian 501c3 nonprofit corporation based out of Railroad Flat, Calaveras County, CA and with Mother Lode Emergency Disaster Relief.
The Rally(s) will be held at the Mountain Ranch Community Hall
8049 Washington Street, Mountain Ranch, CA
