Angels Camp, CA…On Monday night the “Calaveras Partnership” held a Candidates’s Night at the Bret Harte Theatre.  It was billed as an evening of political education featureing Board of Supervisors Candidates for Districts 3 & 5.  On fun segment that separated this event format wise from some of the others was the “Lightning Round” where the candidates could only answer Yes or No to questions.  The Calaveras Partnership is comprised of The Arc of Amador & Calaveras, Carpenter’s Union, Community Action Project Calaveras Planning Coalition, Foothill Conservancy, Habitat for Humanity, Operating Engineers Local 3, SEIU Local 1021, Slow Food Calaveras, Calaveras Grown and Calaveras Unified Educators Association. The event was hosted by Joel Metzger & moderated by Bob Enyeart…

The event started off with a refreshments at 6pm and then the festivities got underway at 6:30pm.  It was a well moderated and paced evening.  The full video is above.
