Tech Talk 2016 Workshops at Manzanita Arts Emporium, Angels Camp

Angels Camp, CA…Tools of the Trade at Your Fingertips. Community organizations, businesses, and activist groups all recognize the value of using social media to get the message out, to bring in new customers, or connect with others who share the same interests. In particular, the Facebook site is the essential tool for promotion, advertisement, and resource access. Facebook is a powerful networking tool, an efficient way to keep the presence of a business or group dynamic and eye-catching to the public.

Creating a Facebook page, or using any other social media tool, does require some skills to make an attractive presentation that will draw in that public. Brett Bunge’s workshop series provides a wealth of strategies for building the perfect Facebook page to attract new customers to a business or new members to a network.

Brett Bunge, Social Media Director for Manzanita Writers Press, is well versed in Facebook, Twitter and other social media tools. He also brings his skills as freelance writer whose work has been featured On ThePineTree.net and in the Calaveras Chronicle to choosing the right elements that will make a Facebook exciting.

The “Tech Talk 2016” workshop series will begin Thursday, January 14th 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Manzanita Arts Emporium in downtown Angels Camp. Tickets are $15 per person at the door for each session or purchase two sessions ahead of time at $25 per person.

Other workshops in the series will continue on Thursdays, January 28th, February 11th, and February 25th. They will focus on the use of Twitter, Google Plus, and more advanced Facebook networking and business promotion techniques.
