Dave Christian Art Featured At Milliaire Winery In February

Murphys, CA…Dave Christian is a native of Calaveras county who grew up enjoying the beauty of the Sierra Foothills. He now lives in Arnold with his wife and two small children. They love spending time together exploring the outdoors and creating new things. Dave has had a passion for art since a very young age and majored in Art Education in college. Dave and his wife love to travel, which led them to backpacking through Europe and South America for three months. Unable to find any suitable souvenirs in Patagonia, he created a poster of the Torres Towers when he returned home. This was the first travel print he made in what would eventually turn into a full time career.

After his initial Patagonia print series, Dave noticed there was a need for a new generation of travel prints depicting local scenes of iconic areas in the Sierra and beyond. His goal is to create a travel print with a vintage yet contemporary feel, combining a scene with hand-drawn lettering.

There will be an artist’s reception Friday, February 12th from 5-7pm. Meet Dave and learn about his adventures while sipping on Milliaire wines. Light appetizers will be provided and wine by the glass will be available for sale.
