Arnold, CA…EPFD and Cal Fire responded to a patient in the Stanislaus River Canyon that had a fractured leg. Due to the remote location, Cal Fire’s Blackhawk helicopter 404 was able to winch/hoist the patient and EPFD paramedic out of the canyon. H404 then flew to rendezvous with the air ambulance in Hathaway Pines.
