Arnold, CA…Cal-Waste is on the cutting edge of recycling technology. Sometimes the best way to go forward in recycling is decidedly old school. They rented the 350 + goats to eat the Christmas trees that were collected throughout the areas they service. There were probably 300-400 trees at the ranch. IT’s just another way to recycle the trees and not have to landfill them. We have hopes to next year make it a destination for families to bring their kids and see the process. There is a man that stays with the goats while they are here. He stays to take care of them and also to deliver the kids. There have been 10-15 kids born since they have arrived. As you can see in the video they are fenced off with their mother’s in a little nursery.
