Bear Valley, CA…The Bear Valley Adventure Company is excited to open for cross country skiing and snowshoeing this Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022. This “soft” opening will provide ~10km of groomed trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. While services will be limited, the early-season snow should offer excellent conditions.

Details:
• ~10 kilometers of groomed trails. See trail report for details.
• Trail signs will be limited but adequate, given the limited terrain.
• Discounted trail passes for $20/adult (18-59 years old); $10/senior (60+); $5/youth (5-17), and free for kinder (1-4).
• Picnic tables & benches will be available at the trailhead and Meadow Café
• Meadow Café pre-made deli sandwiches available in the store
• Snowshoe rentals are available, but no ski rentals or lessons until the following weekend
• The projected opening day for sledding and tubing is Nov. 19, 2022.

Receiving early snow is fortunate, and while opening two weeks before our projected opening date leaves a few services limited, we are excited to start offering skiing and snowshoeing and will be catching up on our limited services over the next two weeks. We hope that you are excited about winter too!
