Avery, CA…The 17th annual lighting of the Avery Christmas Tree! Refreshments, Coffee/Hot Chocolate and Cookies were served starting at 5:30 pm on November 25 with the Lighting of the Christmas Tree at 6:00 PM. The Mountain Aloha Parking Lot was filled to overflowing with the crowd waiting to start the Holiday Season off with a hundred foot Christmas Tree.

From Debbie Artiaga of the organizing committee.. “Because we restrung all the strands (15) in all – over 3000 light bulbs and 1000’ of strands-We could use some donations to help us with electricity, the lighting ceremony, etc. If you were so inclined to help us out, please send a check made out to Avery Christmas Tree Foundation or ACTF to PO BOX 55 Avery, CA 95224. We thank you for helping support this community tradition that dates back to 1969.”
