Dave embodied selfless service, concern, and actual care for the environment. He cared about all the things most people don’t want to discuss. He thought through his ways and invested in people; and it showed. He taught perseverance with passion and concern. He exemplified a humble leader who was able to have a great part in many lives. Oh but he never wanted us forget to have fun doing it.

Costumes strongly encouraged. Come in your favorite Hawaiian shirt, pirate outfit, playboy bunny, Shrek, elf, yoga pants, or whatever Dave-like costume brings up your favorite memory of the great Dave Edney.

Please bring a picture(s) with a story to share and we’ll have poster boards to display your pictures. Food and beverages will be provided. If you feel inclined to bring something, everyone knows dad loved his desserts, so please feel free to bring your favorite dessert.

Dress up, be crazy, be the wonder… Be Dave.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arnold Rim Trail in honor of Dave.

My daughter, Rebecca Nelson and I have known Dave for about 10 years. We met through his daughter, Audrey, who was Becky’s best friend for many years. Audrey lived with us for a few years, on and off, and those were some of the best years of our lives. My fondest memory of Dave is when he borrowed and wore my Zena costume during Halloween for his soccer game! I will forward pictures once I figure out how to get them on here.
Much love to the family…wish that we could be there with all his loved ones but too short notice. He left this earth MUCH too soon and was a great guy! He will forever be one of our fondest memories…
