Bear Valley, CA…Dig out your best retro ski gear, your dancing shoes, and an appetite for fun! If you’re not familiar with our pond skim event, click the following link for a recap. The goal is to make your way across our man-made pond on your skis or snowboard without falling, though falling is half the fun!
Sign ups will be from 9 AM – 11 AM in the sunroom. First come – first served in person sign ups. Limited spaces available. Participants under 18 must have a parent present to sign a waiver.
Event begins at 12:30
We will be partnering with the Bear Valley Parents Group https://www.bearvalleyparentsgroup.com/ to bring the Brewfest portion of the event. The Brewfest will include a sampling of beer and wine. All proceeds from the Brewfest will go directly towards the Busy Bears Playschool and Bear Valley Summer Day Camp!
The Parents Group will be in the Bear Bungalow pouring beer and wine from 12-3. They will have 4 beers on tap, cans of 805 for sale, along with some local wines as well as some Michael David wines.
This year we will also be hosting a costume contest (separate from the Pond Skim Contest) – All those wishing to participate, please gather at 11:00am on the sun deck (outside of the Bear Bungalow)
